This red automotive paint color is most commonly known as simply 'Red'. Other common color promotional names include Cardinal Red and Carnival Red. The color formulation has been used between 1978 and 1987, primarily by Chevrolet; but also by Chrysler, Company Fleet Vehicles, Ford, GM, and GMC.
