Ditzler code IM1021 - blue
This blue automotive paint color is most commonly known as Dido Blue. Another common paint color promotional name is Cadet Blue. The color formulation has been used between 1930 and 1934, primarily by Lincoln; but also by Pontiac. See the full detailed list below.

IM1021 is a paint code for PPG (Pittsburgh Plate Glass) who has been providing automotive paints since 1924 (originally Ditzler Color Company subsidiary acquired in 1928). PPG/Ditzler codes starting with the letters "IM" indicate Ditz-Lac colored lacquers and polychromatics (fine aluminum powder added) and were used before 1940.
